DECEMBER 7 "IS PROZAC HELPING?"

Depression & Oppression, is it normal, natural, hereditary or demonic? I believe it can be at times, a little of both. We have the drudgery of life, at times, not all of us are going skydiving or whitewater rafting every week-end. Most of us are not taking road trips every week-end. Life becomes monotonous, same old every day. No adventures and we can start feeling like we are in a rut, bored and unmotivated, Mix that with a few marriage problems, teen problems and some weight gain and we become very vulnerable to depression. There’s a very natural course to depression but there’s also a very unnatural one too, the demonic. The bible admonishes us to “cast down imaginations”. To bind, to rebuke. Witchcraft is not some women that doesn’t’ like you, sitting on the floor of her apartment, dressed in black, pronouncing curses on you. The secular side says, we need to take action, let’s get this fixed by our own means”. The Christian side of course says, “let’s pray”.  “God’s not going to fix this” is something that even many religious people believe deep down, they simply voice that they will pray, but they don’t. They simply voice that they will pray as a gesture to say, “I care, I have empathy for you, for what you’re going through”. What’s ironic is God can fix this, but He won’t. He won’t because I’m not thinking America is going to turn from the trajectory that She is on, which is full blown out secularism. Sure God can fix this, but only by us fixing ourselves first. As a nation, we are spiritually lethargic at best and spir...
